The Story Behind the Mountains

The mountain print that you see on some of our goods comes with a story that I found so awesome that I had to let you guys in on it...

Leah Stovel and Avery Bloom started Make It Good apparel back in 2011. About a year later, with the desire to start a line of home goods, Krista Stovel joined the team and Nell & Mary was born! Leah and Avery got married September 14, 2013 in the beautiful hills of Yosemite, California. For their invites, they sent out tea towels with the mountain print that was designed for them by Krista, amazing right?

Their wedding days was beyond gorgeous and I just had to share a few shots!

    Was just browsing your shop and instagram feed and was instantly drawn to the mountain print tote. I work in Yosemite, and your mountain print feels so familiar. I loved that it reminded me of the Sierra Nevada mountains. And then I see this blog post—so wonderful that the print was indeed inspired by those very mountains :) You all really captured them in all their glory! Great story, thanks for sharing it. Now I really need that tote, to accompany me on all my Yosemite adventures!
